  • Key Qualifications:
    • You are an independent, outside-the-box-thinking engineer or researcher with expertise in several of the following areas: machine learning, deep learning, GPTs, LLM APIs, post-training of LLMs, recommender systems, prompting techniques, AI agentic workflows, AI web-browsers, computer use for mobile, time series modalities, evals, guardrails, RAG, and computer vision (medical images).
    • Expertise in reinforcement learning, contextual bandits, or sequential decision-making to develop adaptive personalization algorithms.
    • Expertise in mobile app design, development, and deployment.
    • You have prior mobile or web game design, development, and deployment experience.
    • Expertise in full-stack software development. Hands-on development.
    • 8+ years of industry experience.
    • You bring integrity and a strong work ethic to every challenge you face.
  • Preferred:
    • Startup experience.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Lead with innovation.
    • Design, develop, and deliver the entire technology related aspects of our mobile app.
    • Conduct applied research to test new AI modeling approaches, algorithms, and architectures relevant to our problem domain with an emphasis on robustness, interpretability, and real-world performance.
    • Find innovative and practical methods to implementing AI-agentic workflow to solve for specific tasks (e.g. web-browsing agent).
    • Inform and shape the AI roadmap, ensuring that research priorities are aligned with near-term product milestones and our long-term vision.
    • Ensure data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
    • Oversee and mentor the team.

Applied AI Engineer/Researcher

  • Key Qualifications:
    • You are an independent, outside-the-box-thinking AI/ML engineer highly skilled in the following areas: deep learning, sequence models, GPTs, OpenAI and Gemini API, AI agentic workflows, post-training of LLMs, RAG, prompting techniques, evals, guardrails, computer use.
    • You are willing to take ownership of training, inference, deployment, and scaling.
    • Expertise in reinforcement learning, contextual bandits, or sequential decision-making to develop adaptive personalization algorithms.
    • 5+ years of industry experience.
    • 3 + years of industry experience in building recommender systems (contextual bandits, reinforcement learning).
    • 2+ years of industry experience in agentic orchestration frameworks and hands-on experience building browser automation.
    • You must have prior experience in developing mobile apps.
    • Prior startup experience is a huge plus.
    • You bring integrity and a strong work ethic to every challenge you face.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Explore sequential decision-making approaches, including contextual bandits and/or reinforcement learning to enhance LLM-based recommendations, particularly in real-world settings with limited data.
    • Implement these recommendations utilizing programming languages such as Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Swift, Objective-C. 
    • Design and build a web-browsing agent capable of navigating specific websites.
    • Evaluate model performance based on metrics such as repeatability, reliability, safety, coherence, latency, etc. and find innovative ways to improve them. 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions on cloud platforms. 
    • Document findings and present results to the team.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
